Where is steam userdata

Config holds your Steam client configurations among other stuff. Are they bothering you that much? I just want to understand the purpose of them. If I don't use them or need them, I would rather delete them.

Like I said, I thought the userdata folder was exclusively for game folder and would like it that way. I didn't know if it's something I can opt out of. For example, I don't participate with the Steam cloud and didn't know if these folders have anything to do with that. Many Steam games put their save files in a subdirectory off that UserData folder, many others put them in other random locations, such as "My Documents", "ProgramData", "AppData", and sometimes even in the Windows registry.

Ultimately, the game developer decides where it goes, and despite being something of an inconvenience for the end user, that's just how it is.
